Re:The Benelux Career Fair of Working Worlds in Second Life
------------------------------
Join us May 29, Thursday, for the second recruiting event for Gax Technologies. Last year's hugely attended virtual Career Fair held in Luxembourg was a giant success. Working Worlds will this time feature jobs and open its doors to all three Benelux countries. Some of the biggest employers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will be in attendance to interview eager candidates for their very real life job positions. In order to participate as a career seeker go to the Working Worlds' website www.working-worlds.com and register your CV it's a very easy process and gets you well on your way to finding not job another job but to finding a career in the field of your dreams.
Working Worlds first used this new form of recruitment in Second Life at the end of last year. There were more than 2000 visitors, 1500 candidates who registered their CV and 300 interviews that took place. For real life companies to come in world and to achieve that with their first job fair made Working Worlds an overnight success. Working Worlds proves that Second Life is a way not only to socialize on a personal level globally but Second Life remains a springboard of opportunities with no limits of what can be accomplished here.
The Working Worlds sim is full of job opportunities in the areas of finance, information technology and telecommunications, industry and commerce. The Career Fair is the most efficient solution currently available to these companies to reach beyond territorial limits and it does not require prospective employees to travel. You can sit in the comfort of your own home and attend an actual interview for the job of your dreams. Cornelia den Hartog, Managing Director of Gax Technologies and organizer of the Career Fair, is entirely convinced that this form of recruitment is less stressful for potential employees because, "They can present themselves much more confidently and feel less intimidated by the interview process."
The Career Fair is not just open to employees seeking employment, there is still room for employers seeking employees to sign up and be part of this as well. All companies within the Benelux area who are currently hiring should definitely go to the website www.working-worlds.com and find out how they can setup an area in the Working Worlds sim filled with information about what jobs they are hiring for and with information about their company. You can also contact Cornelia den Hartog by email which is gax@gax.com. Furthermore, you can go to the website and easily contact Cornelia or any other Working Worlds Staff by clicking on contact us beneath the Above Us Section.
Working Worlds has brought the idea of Second Life being used as a complimentary recruitment tool to the forefront. No longer does one have to actually pay travel expenses to interview for a job that they are qualified for. With places like Working Worlds an interview with a long distance company is as easy as logging in and teleporting to the actual location. It really does not get any easier than this and the results can be just as rewarding for both the employer and the job seeking employee. We invite you to come down and discover a creative, fulfilling, and exciting world of opportunities!
