The all new FASHION DOME opens its doors to host the fashion event of the year! New stages, great live entertainment, A haute couture extravaganza where every designer takes their talents to the next level. 30 of the most beautiful ladies fight for the ultimate modeling crown in Second Life, and this year they do it for a good cause. MISS VIRTUAL WORLD 2013 will bring awareness of the Michael J. Fox foundation and donation boxes will be placed at the FASHION CAFE for the after party. Please donate generously.

Join us today January 9th at 11am for the crowning of Miss Bliss Couture 2010. It is only fitting that the Miss Bliss Couture event be this huge considering the largely successful year that the Bliss Couture clothing line has had in 2009. The highly anticipated event has finally arrived and will be held at the beautifully designed PATCH THIBAUD AUDITORIUM, the exact location of Miss Virtual World and other fabulous in-world events. After months of narrowing down the large sum of contestants, we are down to 20 finalists who eagerly await the news to find out which one of them will have the honor of being named Miss Bliss Couture 2010! The final 20 will be judged on casual and formal wear and we are sure it will not be easy choosing one winner. As the ladies grace the catwalk the music will be brought to you by the one and only DJ AZU (Azufr3 Catteneo).

It has truly been a long journey for the gorgeous ladies that began July 2009. Each woman who felt she had what it took to represent Bliss Couture sent in her entry with hopes that she would become the "face" of this top clothing brand. Along with being the "face" of Bliss Couture ( which involves appearing in most vendor ads for new clothing, exclusively modeling print and magazine ads) the winner will also be interviewed in the top SL fashion magazine BOSL, receive an invitation to the prestigious Boulevard Agency, will receive a specially designed diamond jewelry set from Alyssa Bijoux, be given all future Bliss Couture releases throughout her one year reign, and be awarded $10,000L Cash Prize. With prizes of this magnitude it is easy to see why so many chose to be part of this fabulous contest.

Amutey Decuir, owner of Bliss Couture, has had quite a time going from 350 contestants to the final 20. The judges who will be helping her judge this final round are: Frolic Mills (CEO of BOSL & CO), edo Tone (Owner of Styles of edo), Breezie Noel (Managing Editor of BOSL Magazine), Mui Mukerji (SL Supermodel and Style Consultant). The event will be hosted by two lovely ladies Ansleigh Beverly (Manager of Wilder Public Relations), and Caymon Zhora (Manager of Bliss Couture). The search for Miss Bliss Couture 2010 has begun! Entries will be accepted until July 30th so all interested models should quickly apply. We are calling every beautiful model and every classy woman who adores Bliss Couture clothing. Many women would love to be the "Face" of Bliss Couture and wear the title of Miss Bliss Couture 2010, are you one of them? Only ONE will be chosen as Miss Bliss Couture 2010 and that lucky lady will appear in most vendor ads for new clothing and will exclusively be the model in all print advertising for magazines and other media. Miss Bliss Couture will be given priority for all modeling jobs available, only being replaced in the event of her being unavailable. Miss Bliss Couture will be awarded a specially designed diamond jewelry set from Alyssa Bijoux. She will also be given all future Bliss Couture releases throughout her one year reign, $10,000L Cash Prize, and of course the title of Miss Bliss 2010. The winner will also receive an invitation to the prestigious Boulevard Agency and an interview for BOSL Magazine. With prizes like these who would not want to be part of a contest of this magnitude?

Miss Bliss Couture 2010 is a multi level competition based on photos, live modeling and objective judging. There will be no voting from friends the competitors will only be judged by the distinguished panel of judges chosen for the event. The rules to the contest are as followed:

Step 1 - Join "THE BEST OF SL Magazine Readers" Group. All notices and results will be announced in this group only. All contestants also, have to join the Bliss Couture In-world Group to be part of this contest.

Step 2 - Models will submit photos of themselves wearing a dress or outfit from Bliss Couture. One full body and one headshot 512 X 512 (FULL PERM) each. Full body photos will be judged on styling, while headshots will judged based on the visual appeal of the model. Please send your entry in a folder (not a notecard) to Caymon Zhora. Label your entry MISS BLISS COUTURE 2010 (YOUR NAME).

Step 3 - 100 girls will be selected from these entries for a live audition callback. Models should again wear a Bliss Couture dress or outfit and style themselves in a way they believe represents the image of Bliss Couture. The live audition will include a runway walk and will take place over 2 live audition times so all girls will have a chance to be seen.

Step 4 - The pool will be narrowed down to 20 models from the live audition. Since the winner of the competition will be working closely with designer Amutey DeCuir, it is important that the girl herself show signs of reliability and be personable. An interview will be scheduled for each girl to gauge for compatibility between model and designer.

Step 5 - The pool of 20 will be narrowed down to 10. The 10 finalists will all have a photoshoot wearing the same dress provided to them by Bliss Couture. These photos by a professional photographer will be judged by a panel and will determine the top 5.

Step 6 - The top 5 will all be invited to be Bliss Couture Models on staff for live modeling, runway modeling, special events, and select vendor ads. The 5 finalists will walk in a runway show, wearing all new releases from Bliss Couture. A panel of judges will be present to determine the winner.

The Best of Italian's Elegance SL Competition will begin with a bang on April 13th at 1:30pm slt. The long awaited much buzzed about competition is set and ready to raise the standards of typical beauty pageants in SL. The theme for the first night will be "Sex And The City," and with a theme like that you know it will be hot! There are 45 contestants who are waiting to blow the lid off and show SL how true elegance, fashion sense, and poise will count heavily in this competition. ELEGANCE SL is about your sense of styling, your taste, your concept of "Elegance" and how you apply it in different circumstances. Elegance SL will have three days of judging contestants and one grand finale. The three days will include 15 contestants per day the dates are April 13th, 16th, and 20th each will be held at 1:30pm slt. The grand finale, where the winner is chosen, will be April 24th at 1:30pm slt. There will be an assortment of themes per each event date, which will be very entertaining for the crowd.

The judges are some of the most recognized names in SL who have excelled in each of their various fields. In no particular order here are the judges: Annemarie Perenti (Owner of Best of Italian Style and Piazza Italia), Dahlia Joubert (Model for Evane, NOCTURNE, Made in Italy Fashion, Elegance and Event Manager for Best of Italian Style), Rusch Raymaker (Owner of AVENUE INC which is the umbrella company for AVENUE Models, AVENUE Magazine, AVENUE Models Academy, AVENUE Studio, and Stylissimo), Frolic Mills (Owner of THE BEST OF SL MAGAZINE, THE BEST OF SL BOULEVARD, BOULEVARD MODEL AGENCY, MISS/MR VIRTUAL WORLD ORGANIZATION, and BOSL AWARDS), Cherie Parker (Owner of Exclusive Studios), Suzi Phlox (Co-owner of LeeZu Baxter Designs), Dousa Dragonash (MBC News TV Reporter), Queen Watanabe (Manager of Bogart's Dance Club and Shops), and last but certainly not least Elettra Gausman (Owner of ORAGE Creations).
