Upcoming weekend events...

MOREA STYLE presents their fabulous 2009/2010 collection during a fashion show Saturday December 12th at the NARKISSOS Sim. The show will begin at 2pm slt Saturday, and below is your limo!

Also on Saturday the 12th, Secondnights is having their fabulous Award Party to pick the winners of their first photo contest. The award ceremony will begin at 1pm slt and be followed by a party that will last until 3pm slt.
Pop and dance music will be played with Simone Peterman spinning the tunes.

Secondnights Venue Photo Contest

Secondnights is pleased to launch its special Venue Contest.
1st NOVEMBER - 20TH NOVEMBER

DESCRIPTION:
Secondnights.com will launch its new photo contest where contestants who would like to participate will do so by sending in great shots of the wonderful, creative, and entertaining world of SL. Remember, we only want to see amazing photos which feature venues from the Secondnights Venue List. Your entries can consist of pictures of fabulous parties, awesome fashion shows, dances, live performances by singers or bands, cool locations, and any interesting creative event or location that you can find on our list of venues. If you would like to accept this challenge we invite you to participate and show us what you can come up with. You will be allowed to take your shots during the venue's event or wait till after the event is over and use the location with models of your choice.

* The shots must be taken in High Resolution and with a width of almost 4000pxl (height proportional). On the site you can post an image of about 1200pxl of width max. We ask that you use high resolution because if your photo will be used for the magazine it is required. We accept edited and not edited photos.

RULES for entry: 1ST NOVEMBER - 20 NOVEMBER
A. Choose a Location from the Secondnights Venue list on the site - http://www.secondnights.com/cms/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=venues&Itemid=54

B. Create your amazing shots.

C. Send all the photos you want entered to our website. http://www.secondnights.com/cms/index.php?option=com_phocagallery&view=category&id=29&Itemid=126

D. Judges will choose the best 3 photos as winners

E. Judge will also choose 8 other photo entries to create a special publication created by Secondnights which will feature reviews of the venues chosen for photos.

All 12 finalists must have photos that are high quality in order for a magazine to be created.

JUDGE VOTING: 20TH NOVEMBER - 1ST DECEMBER
Once all photos are sent in the judges will narrow their favorites down to 12 finalists. Once all 12 finalists are chosen we are able to choose the 3 winners (8 point to the first, 7 to the second, 6 to the third, ...)

Magazine Unveiling FINAL ACT
December 4th or 5th, 2009 there will be a party and the special magazine will be revealed for all of SL to see. More information on the party will be released at a later time.

MOREA STYLE is now accepting entries until October 2nd (Friday) which means those of you who are interested must send in your photos as soon as possible. The winner will be announced at the Miss MOREA STYLE Contest ceremony which will be held October 3rd (Saturday) at 4pm slt. The fantastic prizes include $10,000L and 5 amazing outfits from MOREA STYLE's new collection. This will be the first Miss MOREA STYLE Contest held and morea Decosta is excited to view all the wonderful entries. The event will be judged by some very well known fashion designers in SL which will include: edo Tone (Owner of Styles of edo), Chrissy Ambrose (Owner of Virtual Impressions), Asalt Eames (Owner of grasp and Sweetaholic), Mami Jewell (Owner of Azul), and last but certainly not least morea Decosta (Owner of MOREA STYLE). The event will be held at MOREA STYLE Main shop located at the Fashion Town Ekho sim.

MOREA STYLE is known for its elegant gowns that definitely makes you the center of attention when you enter a room. The creative talent behind MOREA STYLE is morea Decosta. morea Decosta has been designing in Second Life for two years. Once you step inside of her main store you are immediately engulfed into a world of fabulous designs and a breathtaking surrounding. morea's clothing line has something for every fancy occasion you may possibly attend in Second Life. The rules to the Miss MOREA STYLE Contest are as follows:
1. Each contestant must submit 2 photos (head shot +full body shot).

2. The photos must be 512x512 with full permissions. The photos may be Snapshot or Textures.

3. The model in the photograph must be wearing items from MOREA STYLE. The items worn may NOT be freebies or dollarbies from MOREA STYLE.

4. All photos must be sent in a folder named "Miss MOREA STYLE Contest - ". Each photo must have your name on them and the entire folder then must be sent to morea Decosta. Photos will not be returned once received; they are entered into contest and become property of MOREA STYLE.

5. Questions regarding the contest can be sent to morea Decosta (Owner of MOREA STYLE) or Mami Jewll (Owner of AZUL).
